I headed to the South Kensington Club to celebrate some new additions to ESPA’s fitness range. This natural skincare brand, known for their gentle products for the face and body, stunning spas worldwide, delectable candles and reed diffusers, has long been a favourite of mine. Adding two new products to the ESPA fitness family, we celebrated the occasion with a dance class.

Ten us of headed downstairs to the studio, unsure of what to expect. Though we needn’t have worried as our instructor for the morning was the brilliant Jo Manoukian. We began with a gentle warm up, then spent the next hour grooving to sounds of Bruno Mars and Rhianna – the most fun I’ve had working out in ages! I’m a total dance class convert, and will be tracking down these sessions that are dotted around London.

After working up an appetite, we head to the restaurant to feast on fresh fruit, chia puddings, poached eggs and smashed avocado on toast. The tables were decorated with bushes of rosemary and lavender, and we were invited to sample ESPA’s new fitness products.

Their fitness shower oil is divine. A decadent, nourishing way to feel refreshed after a workout. And the muscle balm is a game changer for anyone who suffers from soreness after the gym. It immediately ices any tightness, before a soothing heat sets in. As I start to get to work on my summer body – once the snow has cleared, that is! – these two products will be a firm fixture in my dance class bag. I plan to boogie my way fit at least once a week!
